While breaking, I missed out on Copy Cat Friday with Sarah from Frills for Thrills and it just happens to be one of my favorite link ups each month so I decided to go ahead and participate still even if I am a little late. Thanks for forgiving me.
I have a board on Pinterest titled: "CopyCat" specifically for looks I find that I would like to copycat. (Duh! :o) And I also have a board titled "The stuff in my closet could be styled this way..." Between the 2 boards, I've gotten a lot of (p)inspiration here lately for remixing my wardrobe!
The picture I chose to copycat this week is:
I chose this one because I'm quickly realizing that this whole pattern mixing thing has gotten my attention. Seriously, 80% of the pictures in my "Copy Cat" board are of pattern mixing. I'm not quite yet ready for the mixing of polka dots and stripes so I thought I would give this a go first.
Here is my interpretation of the look:
Sweater: Ralph Lauren (thrifted), Shirt: LL Bean (thrifted), Jeans: AG (Goodwill), Shoes: Target, Bracelet, ASOS, Necklace: eBay |
Had I posted this on Friday it would have been perfect for Frugalista Friday as well!
Outfit Deets:
Sweater: $3.00 thrifted
Shirt: $4.00 thrifted
Jeans: $5.00 Goodwill
Shoes: $14.99 Target
Bracelet: $9.99 ASOS
Necklace: $11.88 eBay
Total: $48.86
My little photo bomber is Football.

ReplyDeleteAlso, I just added a tab on my blog with all my tutorials and I have one for pattern mixing! I'm no expert or anything, but it might help : )
