Easy Stromboli

Each Sunday I sit down, go through my cookbooks/Pinterst/All Recipes app to make my menu for the week.  I try to make different things to keep it interesting, to please my hubby, and because I enjoy cooking.  There are always nights where I know we are going to be busy or I know I may be more tired than others so I try to pick easier meals to prepare those nights.  We rarely eat frozen foods like pizza or meals you warm up in the microwave. 

So when I came across this easy stromboli recipe I decided to try it this week!  Last week we spent extra time with family and had many late nights/busy days so I knew Monday would be rough.

Pillsbury refridgerated French bread
Sliced (thin) deli ham
Shredded Mozzerella cheese
Parmesan cheese

  1. Roll out the French bread on a lightly floured surface to make it one big square.
  2. Spread as much mozzerella cheese as you like all over the bread.
  3. Lay the ham on top of the cheese in a single layer.
  4. Roll the bread up from a small side and pinch the seam closed.
  5. Lightly brush with melted butter and shake parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes.
  7. Let cool and enjoy!
 I served mine with some warmed up pasta sauce.  I think it would be good with pizza sauce as well.
The only thing I would do differently if time allowed is to make the dough from scratch.
