I grew up camping almost every weekend when the season allowed for it. I learned how to ride a bike and got my first set of stitches while camping. We have camped in the snow, rain, and sunshine. It's quite the tradition in our family.
There was one campground that was our favorite and we spent many weekends/weeks there; Fish Creek. Since we have grown up and moved away, our campgrounds have had to shift with us.

Since moving to NC, my parents have started coming to Martinsville, VA each year for the NASCAR race. My brother and some of our best friends have also started to come.
I wasn't a huge NASCAR fan, but I have to tell you: You don't have to like racing at all to enjoy being at a NASCAR race! There are so many other fun things to do like people watching, watching people do crazy things, and.....oh, people watching!
Stop by tomorrow to hear some of the crazy stories I have to tell you from this weekend. Trust me, you don't want to miss it - NASCAR brings out the cray in people.
I have only been camping once in my life, with my girl scout troop when I was 9. I had so much fun! I'd love to do it again! Not sure about camping in the snow and rain though ;)
