November CARA Box

Cara Box

I came across this CARA box idea when I was reading a post from Wifessionals.
The whole concept is so neat that I decided to jump on board for November:
You get linked up to another blogger/participant (a few don't have blogs) and you interact with them through email, twitter, etc. to get to know them.
Every month there is a theme and this month's theme was childhood.

So, Tiara and I got to work getting to know each other through our childhood experiences.
I shared with her that I grew up in upstate New York skiing and enjoying the winters and moved to North Carolina.  The fun part: she grew up at the beach and now lives in the mountains!

Let me just say, she did an awesome job with my box.  I love everything she sent me!

The first thing I pulled out was some amazing Candy Cane hot cocoa that we have already broken into and enjoyed!

I also got some all natural chap stick and nail polish in fall colors.

The best part: she knitted me a handmade beanie!  Not just that, it's in my favorite color!  I absolutely love it, put it on my head as soon as I pulled it out and wore it the rest of the night - in the house no less.

Thank you so much, Tiara!

I loved participating in the CARA Box.  I'm a total gift-giver.  I love getting to know people and sending them special little treats catered to their heart's desire.

I'm featured over at Merrick's Art for my striped pencil skirt today.  If you haven't checked out her blog, you definitely should.  I draw so much inspiration from her and just love reading about her growing family.  She is delightful.

  1. A handmade beanie?! That is so awesome! Looks like you got some awesome stuff... who doesn't love getting packages in the mail? Hooray for Cara boxes!
