Something New


Since becoming pregnant I've been trying new workouts that will benefit me throughout pregnancy and labor.  I had done yoga before, but never really felt like I understood it or "got it" if that makes sense. I have learned so much.  The instructor stops to explain variations of the moves, benefits of the moves, and potential injuries if done incorrectly throughout pregnancy.  It is so informative.

I have to tell you, I may not be a pro, but I am now a self-proclaimed yogi.  I have been doing the moves that I've learned at home and I feel amazing!  The stretching and the strengthening that take place without even breaking a sweat is incredible.

My challenge for you: try something new that is physical.  
Go out and challenge yourself to a new addition in your fitness regimen.

  1. I am in love with my yoga class (every Wed morning). For about 6 months I was having recurring back pain that literally knocked me to my knees with pain. This class has really helped me with that, and changed the way my body feels. So glad you're enjoying it!

  2. I like yoga, my body however does not. Some of the positions...it just won't do, even with practice. I'm glad you're loving it though!
