Curveball

When things happen unexpectedly it's really hard to locate the pockets of grace that usually exist somewhere in the madness.  When going through a storm, it's easy to focus on the darkness and miss the pockets of light that still shine through.

A few weeks ago, life threw me a curveball and it was amazing to see the grace that was received throughout the week.  Big things like finding out I will graduate before my baby is born and that baby is healthy and growing as he should be inside me.  And little things like Manda sending me a sweet text or my husband staying in town for the weekend to spend time together.

I've witnessed amazing strength, faith, and resilience in the past 3 weeks and it is so inspiring.  I hope that no matter what you are going through today, there are enough pockets to shed light on the grace you are experiencing all along.

  1. Love this friend! I cannot imagine trying to balance life, school, and a brand new baby! You're a rockstar! I am trying to keep my eye on the glimmer of light, since moving across country without a job, in the middle of grad school, and out in the country is feeling like a massive storm!! Cheers to graduating before the baby arrives :) That's wonderful!
