The one thing about fall

Button up: American Eagle (similar), Shirt: Liz Lange for Target, Skirt, Target (old, similar), Sandals: Target
Necklace & Earrings: Silpada, Bracelet: gift, Rings: Stella & Dot

Remember yesterday when I shared that I love wearing button up shirts in lieu of cardigans? Here I am!

So, I have to jump in and share all my excitement for fall.  I looooove fall.  It's my favorite.  Always has been.  I love the leaves, the crunchy leaves, the cooler temps...

There's just one thing that I can't throw in there and I feel almost un-American saying it, but here goes anyway.  I don't love football.  Yikes.  Scary to admit when everyone else is still recovering from opening weekend and people literally fight for their home team.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I like football.  In fact, my hubby and I had season tickets to East Carolina up until this year and I loved tailgating, food prep, purple and gold, all of it.  But, until I met him, I had no idea about how football was played, how the score was kept or anything.  I grew up in such a small area that we didn't have a team so I never learned about it.  Then I went to college in Steeler nation and tried my darndest to fit in, but no one ever took the time to explain it to me (or I just never had the guts to admit I didn't know what was happening) until I met my husband.

I guess you could say I love ECU football, but I don't have a team I pull for religiously and I can't tell you if I've ever watched an entire football game on tv.  Probably not even the superbowl.

What about you?

  1. Don't feel bad I am having a hard time getting into football too. I guess I should be pulling for ECU too now that I'm a pirate. I usually sit on the couch with my boyfriend half watching half looking on Pinterest or reading.
