25 Weeks

How Far Along: Last Saturday marked 25 weeks

Size of Baby: 2 pounds, 9.2 inches

Weight Gain: 19-20 lbs; it's getting harder to figure out now because I can literally vary 2-3 pounds a day due to water retention and swelling.

Stretch Marks: Nada

Maternity Clothes:  Of course loving them.  It was fun to put together 7 new outfits with 7 items this week, too. Looking forward to seeing how else I can style those bad boys.  Also purchased myself a pair of skinny jeans (finally) and a new dress from Old Navy!

Gender:  Sweet baby boy!

Movement:  Oh yes; really anticipating being able to feel him from the outside.  Once in a while I catch it, but I really want my hubby to feel.

Sleep: Sleeping well.  Just waking up when I am on my back for too long or on my right side.  Normal stuff.

Missing:  Nothing. (Except my family and friends that are far away.)  This week I decided I was going to appreciate, soak in, and bask in everything that is pregnancy and baby boy. So...I miss nothing.  I have everything I could ever want right here.

Loving:    Fall festivities.  We are going apple picking this weekend and I'm going to the local fall festival with 2 friends.  We go every year and always have such a good time together.    My husband.  Yet again!  Saturday after the football game I was soooo tired, sore, and swollen from being on my feet all day.  He elevated them and rubbed them and slept on the couch so I could rest.

Craving:   Halloween Oreos thanks to Ashley's favorites post.  Hubby went out and bought me, not 1, but 2 packages Wednesday night!

Feeling: Confident, beautiful, and blessed.  I've struggled in the past 2 weeks with comments people (mostly total strangers) have made about my baby bump and size and all and so many people have reached out to me.  It's always a nice reminder what amazing friends you have when you need them.  I am very blessed.

Looking Forward: Fall festivities and another wedding.  Really looking forward to October 12 when we have our nursery work day.  Also, making a few things for the babe's nursery this week including curtains and his mobile! Can't wait to share it with you.

Best Moment(s): Spending the entire day at home Sunday.  Getting fitted for my cap and gown Wednesday! Not to mention while walking back from the book store to the parking garage after getting my cap and gown a stranger came up to me (I was with friends so it wasn't scary) and she said, "Excuse me.  I just watched you walk across that parking lot."  Strange.  I thought so, too.  She continued, "I have to ask...where is all the weight?!  When you're pregnant you're supposed to gain weight!  You look fantastic."  That, right there, made up for all the negative that I've heard.  As I said before, I'm done with focusing on other's ignorant comments, but this sweet stranger woman really made my week.  Thank you to her!
Watching ECU beat UNC for the first time in 38 years at Kenan Stadium!

Thursdays are really long days because I work all day then I sit in class from 4-8:15.  In the past week God has blessed me with several signs that the light is near:
getting my cap and gown
finishing all assignments/readings for September
October and November are looking so much better
and then this sunrise on my way to work Thursday morning.
The light is bright and it is near!

Starting October off right; loving the treadmill (at work by the way = awesome principal award)
So far for October I've gotten 6 out of 48 goal miles (30in30)
