An Easy Way to Make Money

If you've been around these parts for a while you know that I just finished my Master's degree in Literacy.  And, of course, missed out on graduation to bring my sweet little man into the world.

Being a teacher and going back to school isn't easy, particularly when you are on a teacher's salary.  Especially when that salary is coming from the state of North Carolina considering we are 46th in the nation for teacher pay.  Yikes!

So, I had to figure out how to purchase text books without breaking my bank - I have lots of cute baby boy clothes to buy with that money!  One way I saved money was by renting textbooks.  There are always books that we have to have for class, but we may not use again after the class ends.  This is the perfect opportunity to rent from sites like Campus Book Rentals.

Not only does Campus Book Rentals give you a cheap alternative to purchasing text books, but with each rental they give back to Operation Smile.  So, in essence, you are getting your books cheaper and donating to a worthy and valuable cause.

So, here's how you can make money!  Campus Book Rentals has also created a way for you to rent the books that you already own to others.  This means, that you aren't just making money one time by selling the book back to Amazon or the book store, but you could make money from this book several times.  I don't know about you, but this is something I'm very interested in!

Here is a infographic explaining how Rent Back.com works:

So, what are you waiting for?!  Go through those old text books that the bookstore refused to take or that you were too lazy to send off to Amazon and make some money off of them!

  1. I have college books from a few years ago... I wonder if they're still useable or if they're too outdated? Might have to look into this at some point!

Feel free to leave me some love. It makes my heart smile.
