Wow. This past month has flown. I absolutely love each day with you, but I've secretly been hoping it would all slow down because I'm not ready to go back to work. My days with you are my favorite. Everyone keeps assuring me that I will be happy and get a routine and things will be great, but I'm the happiest I've ever been changing your diapers and snuggling with you.
The personality you're developing is really starting to shine through and I absolutely love it. You smile and coo so much. As soon as I lay you down on the changing table you start kicking your legs and smiling and laughing. You are such a happy boy.
My love for you just keeps growing deeper and deeper. Everything you do is so exciting and I look forward to each new thing each day. People are starting to say you look like me and I love it. I think it has something to do with the blue eyes and red hair. You are just absolutely darling.
I love you, buddy. So, so much.
3 Month UpdateWeight: pounds
Nicknames: The Milkman, Milk Monster, CT, Hungry Hungry Hippo, Bubby, Monster,
Sleep: The past 3 nights you have slept through the night! Not just that, I have just laid you in your crib while you are awake and you talk yourself to sleep. You're the best baby!
Eating: Every 3-4 hours, roughly 4-6 oz. at a time - still just breast milk and formula at night
Clothing: some 0-3 months and 3 months
You slept all night for the first time 3/10/14
You are smiling and starting to have sounds of laughter
You are reaching for things and shaking them around (you really like to tug the wipe off while I'm changing you and wave it around)
We made it through our first ice storm and loss of power. You were such a trooper! We didn't have to be without power for long luckily because we moved in with Mamaw and Pawpaw for a few days, but in that time, you were the best baby I could ask for.
You got to meet your Auntie Lish and your cousins Levi, Courtney, and Colden
You made the trip to Charlotte with me to pick up Grandma and visited the NASCAR Hall of Fame
I ran my first 3 miles with the stroller and didn't die!
I survived no power for 4 days with an infant (in large part thanks to my in-laws)
I have been doing Tone It Up workouts with the kettle bell throughout the day and we have gone on lots of walks when the weather permits.
Seriously, he has changed so much...
