Since summer vacation has started we've had a fair share of slow mornings at our house. We wake up to the dogs coming in the bedroom or the sunlight shining through the blinds. I get up and turn on the Keurig while Justin gets ready for work. I slice fresh fruit and pour my first cup before getting CT out of his crib. He generally lays there talking and playing until one of us scoops him up. As Justin heads out the door, I give CT a bottle, sip my coffee and we ease into the day. Most days there are no real plans. Perhaps a trip to the pool, maybe a walk to the park, usually a task or two around the house for productivities' sake. There's a lot of books read, toys spread around the living room floor, and car watching from the front stoop.
Slow mornings are my favorite.
