Yesterday I showed my fantastic attempt at a DIY American flag tank. In the end, I'm quite happy with the way it turned out even if I could have potentially qualified for a
Pinterest fail.
There's something about America that I just
love. I mean, duh, it's our country, but when I hear the Star Spangled Banner or hear the pledge being recited my heart just feels. so. full. You know what I mean?
So, I wanted to come up with several ways to wear this tank because, let's be honest...I'm not just going to wear it for the World Cup or the 4th of July.

Tank: Me, Shorts: GAP Outlet, Flops: Sanuk via Zulily |
This outfit is soooo comfy and most likely exactly what I will be wearing Saturday to our family picnic. The shorts are part of my
summer uniform because they are linen and breathable for these
hoooot summer days we are having.
If my picnic were a little more dressy than casual Saturday, I would so throw on this skirt and tuck in the tank. I love the way it looks tucked in.
If were going to be in New York for the 4th, this is what I would wear. There's no way I will be needing the chambray in NC this summer, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to layer with the tank and wear it with red bottoms.
Which is your favorite outfit?
I love it with the navy shorts and the navy skirt...but I'm a little partial to navy! Love the layered look too though!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this shirt! I especially love all the different ways you styled it. I tend to get stuck with wearing my pieces the exact same way every time. This has inspired me to try something new!
ReplyDeleteLOVE that last styled look! But you are right, WAY to hot to layer in this NC heat!!
