Saving Money and Lives

*This is a sponsored post.  Although I was compensated for this post, all opinions are my own.*

I'm a huge fan of supporting businesses that support charities.  My love for Toms is only inflated by the fact that for each pair I buy, a pair goes to a child in need of shoes.  So, when I found a way to save money on textbooks and help others while doing it, I just had to share it with you!

CampusBookRentals allows you to rent texts for a fraction of the cost of the book itself.  There are so many times that we don't actually need the book after the class is over so this is the perfect option.  Not only does CampusBookRentals save you money, every time you do business with them, they donate to OperationSmile.

OperationSmile holds a special place in my heart because it helps babies, children, and adults live the life they deserve by performing international surgeries on cleft lip and palates.  Recently, one of my coworkers had a baby with a cleft palate.  Thankfully, their baby is perfectly healthy and after several surgeries, will lead a normal life.

Did you know that a child is born with a cleft every 3 minutes?  Left untended a cleft doubles the odds of a child dying before the age of one.  This is just one small way you can help.

CampusBookRentals also allows you to rent your own textbooks through their new program, RentBack, which will allow you to benefit OperationSmile even more!  In RentBack, the site will rent your book to numerous students and for each rental, you get paid!
