How Does She Do It All?

how does she do it all

If you're looking for a post on how to get everything done and have it all together all the time, keep looking.  This won't be it.  I'm just trying to hang onto my sanity most days.

Do you ever see those beautiful homes?  The ones that look like they belong in a magazine because they are carefully decorated, immaculately clean, and then of course photographed, Pinterest-ed, and blogged all over the web?  I just don't understand how they do it.

How does she do it all?!

I'm over here like "Let's have a folding party!" on a Friday night.  And by party I mean, let's dump all the clothes I managed to clean throughout the week out of their crumpled up piles inside laundry baskets onto the bed and hold our eyelids open while we fold them.  Then they get placed back into laundry baskets and sit folded until I find time to put them away. Am I the only one?

I do take great pride in the fact that I manage to clean the bedding and towels once a week.  The trick is to take it directly out of the dryer and put it back on the bed and hang it back on the rack.  No folding involved.  Huzzah!

So, most the time the house looks good.  It looks lived in, but it's presentable.  What about you?
How do you do it all?

  2. I don't do it all Hahaha I'm incredibly impressed you manage to wash your towels weekly. We get my son's diapers washed the 2x a week they need (we do cloth) and that's the only guaranteed laundry done! Thankfully we all have enough clothes, sheets, towels etc to go around to last us over a week BUT that means we also have a ton of laundry when we do it. I'm so happy you posted this. My house is decently organized and clean. Every night at bedtime I run around and straighten up for about 20min and it makes me feel better. I have decided, however, to make some kind of chart where I do SOMETHING daily so on the weekends I'm not spent cleaning all.day. long. I just haven't figured out that chart yet. Ya know, laundry X day, vaccuum X day, dust etc. Need to work on that.....

  3. I'm definitely not able to do it all, and I've been slacking on cleaning the house and doing laundry. Oh well. I don't know how people find the time to do everything!
