One of the most common concerns I hear when running a challenge group is the struggle with consistency, maintenance, and commitment.
Truth is, temptation is everywhere. And it is so easy to fall off the healthy bandwagon. One challenger put it well when she said,
"we all deserve to 'fall off the wagon' sometimes
to give the wagon a break, to change its oil, fix a wheel,
of whatever. When you get back on,
you're tuned up and ready to go!"
We are going to struggle, we are going to cave into temptation, we are going to choose to take a nap rather than go for a walk. Those things happen and it's okay.
Bottom line: when we fail. We must fail forward.
We must pick ourselves up, brush ourselves off, and learn from our mistakes. One indulgence or one bad day is not going to make or break us. It's what we do with it that makes the difference.
