My 2015 Word | Shine

Every year I pick a word that sort of represents my goals for the year.  Last year's word was embrace; I wanted to embrace each new moment of motherhood and truly drink it all in as I experienced each milestone with my little family.  I think I did just that.  

This year my word is SHINE

Shine: (v) to give forth or glow with light

to be bright with reflected light; glisten, sparkle

This year I want to shine.  I want to reflect the happiness, blessings, and spirit within me to others.  I want to do this in my role as wife, mother, teacher, and coach.  

I want to be a blessing to my husband.  I want him to look forward to coming home each evening.  I want to make life easier on him and love him unconditionally.

I want to be a rock for my son.  I want to advocate for him and ensure his safety and nurturing.  I want him to feel like mommy is superwoman and she will take care of him at all costs.  

I want to be a bright light in my students' days.  I want them to look forward to my class and see me smiling as they come down the hallway.  I want them to be sad to say goodbye.

I want to help my coaches reach the level of success I've reached within Beachbody.  I want them to love this business and enjoy helping others as much as I do.  I want to help my challangers reach their goals.  I want my success story to become their success story.  I want them to exude the same light and confidence that I do.
