Last week was a real struggle for me in regards to working out and eating right. I wasn't feeling well and we had auditors coming to our house and I had extra responsibilities outside of home. CT was sick with a double ear infection and there were just a lot of things working against me.
I started to get really down on myself. And it just hit me...
It's so easy to let one mistake compound into a lot of mistakes. One bad snack choice becomes a week of poor meal planning (or in my case: no meal planning).
Don't hate yourself if you slip one day, don't let your disappointment compound into a series of bad choices. One bad choice may lead to a disappointment, but a series of bad choices can lead to a severe derailment of your goals.
If you find yourself off the bandwagon, don't give up on yourself.
Get right back into it. Start your workout program back up TODAY.
Don't wait for tomorrow. The longer you wait, the harder it is to get back into your routine. No more excuses, pop in the dvd, hit the gym, or lace up your sneakers. Whatever your thing is, do it.
Contact your accountability partner.
Get in touch with your friends that hold you accountable. Text or call or set up a time to get together. When you surround yourself with positivity, you feel ready to take on the world.
Find some healthy recipes.
Look around on Pinterest, Instagram, or the internet for some healthy recipes to try. When you fuel your body with good foods, you realize how much better you feel on healthy foods as opposed to junk.
