Week 4 Weekly Menu and Budget

I have a confession...  this week's budget got a little crazy.  I went a little rogue when I had the opportunity to go to Trader Joe's and stock up on some of my favorites.  Anyone else love that place?

However, I think it's okay to do those things as long as you are intentional about it.  I didn't randomly put things in my cart just because they sounded good and I didn't get 4 jars of mixed nut butter; I scaled back and got 1.  Haha - I know that sounds crazy, but I use to be the one with a pantry full of extras because I had fear of running out of anything and everything.  Not exactly healthy when trying to stick to a budget.

At TJ's I picked up some frozen cauliflower stir fry mix and a bottle of General Tso's stir fry sauce.  I sauteed some chicken and added the stir fry to the pan after it was cooked through.  Then once it was all cooked I poured about half the bottle of sauce on top.  It was so quick and so delish!

I also grabbed asparagus, corned beef, salad dressing, mixed nut butter, some fresh flowers, and a couple of my favorite dark chocolate bars.  What are you favorites?

I did head to my favorite place, Aldi, to do the rest of my grocery shopping because let's be real...why pay $2.99 for strawberries when you can pay $1.89?!  Stuff is just soooo much cheaper here and I can't bring myself to pay other prices.  I'm spoiled.

Here is this week's menu:
Sunday: Chicken and Cauliflower Rice Stir Fry thanks to new Trader Joe's finds
Monday: Mexican Date Night
Tuesday: Crockpot Chicken Drumsticks (I use ACV instead of balsamic)
Wednesday: Leftovers
Thursday: Leftovers
Friday:Movie/Pizza Night with friends
Saturday: Hawaiian Ham Sliders

What's on your menu this week?
